I have been watching many informational videos and finding information on computer operating systems and aesthetics from the 90s and 2000s. The work of internet archivists is very helpful for finding genuine examples of these aesthetics that are not just nostalgic recreations. I found a blog of archived images of webpages from Geocities, a popular personal website platform that was active from 1994–2009. I also found a site styled in the Frutiger Aero/Web 2.0 Gloss aesthetic full of examples of various related aesthetics from the time period.
