Crossroads in Tech
Crossroads in Tech is a commentary on the emergence of artificial intelligence and how it affects the Graphic Design industry. I mostly want to protest against the negative aspects of AI at the time of writing this description. My ultimate goal is to create human-made designs that exemplify how this new technology threatens creativity through use of visual metaphors. I plan to include some AI generated elements using Adobe Firefly as needed and may experiment with analog processes like screenprinting. My only rule for myself is that I refuse to display 100% AI generated work as a finished piece. All pieces must have my artistic input–whether digital or analog. The only possible exception would be in a situation where I want to demonstrate how AI should NOT be used.
