While icing these cookies I escape reality by playing music and getting lost in the designs. Focusing on the placement of the icing. Trying to make smooth lines that follow the shape of the cookies. Creating different consistencies of icing trying to find the right one. Making sure it's not too thick and not too thin. My mind is completely focused. Forgetting about what's going on around me. Mixing colors, making others that match. The mellow music fades out, reappearing every now and then. Subconsciously sending my thoughts down different paths. Never losing focus of the main task. Creating something to look forward to. A design to accomplish and a sweet treat to share.
